See: Video shows the propalestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil's arrest by federal agents

A video published on Friday shows the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a Propalestinian activist and former leader of the Protests of Columbia University. The film material that his wife Noor Abdalla recorded on March 8th Immigration and customs authority (ICE) Agents who capture Khalil in their housing booth lobby.
In the video, Abdalla repeatedly questions the agents. She asks why her husband is arrested, which agency she belongs to and whether you can specify your names. The agents do not answer clearly. At some point an agent refuses to give its name and say: “We don't give our name.”

According to Khalil's lawyers, ICE agents initially claimed that his student visa was revoked. However, Khalil is a legal US resident with a green card. During the arrest you can hear Abdalla, who asked someone outside the camera whether agents could revoke his green card.
Khalil is currently arrested in Louisiana, over 1,000 miles from his house. His wife, who is eighth month pregnant, described the arrest “frightening”. She said that she did not know his whereabouts for 38 hours.
The White House accused Khalil of supporting Hamas and claimed that he had spread “Pro-Hamas propaganda”. His legal team denied these allegations and explained that no evidence was presented in court. Lawyer Ramzi Kassem dismissed the Weißen House's claims and called it unfounded.
Khalil will appear in front of an immigration judge on March 27.
