Seminole Ridge Girls Flag Football started quickly this season

The Flag football team of the Seminole Ridge High School Girls Flags under the guidance of head coach Scott O'Hara has a strong, unbeaten start to the 2025 season after winning their first three games.

On the way to her 3-0 launch, Seminole Ridges was productive and his defense was stingy. Of the three victories, two Shutouts-34: 0 against John I. Leonard High School were on Tuesday, February 18 and 34: 0 against the Boca Raton High School on Tuesday, March 4. The other victory was a 25: 6 victory against Park Vista High School on Thursday, February 27th. The end result was not available at the time of the press.

The Seminole Ridge Offensive is led by the second quarterback Aubrey Fogel, which also serves as a defender. After three games, Fogel thrown 13 touchdowns and performs 65 percent of their passports.

Four of these touchdown receptions were caught by Senior Lola Agosto. So far, seven members of the Seminole Ridge Team Touchdown passes from Fogel have caught.

Seminole Ridge is defensive by Senior Sydney Pena. After three games, she recorded three quarterback bags. The team also leads Pena with an average of 3.7 Tackles/Flag trains per game. Sophomore Chachi Saunders leads the defense with four interceptions after three games.

This year Seminole Ridge's Squad offers four seniors, two juniors, five in the second year and a newcomer.

At Seminole Ridge, the annual expectations of the flag football team of the Girls Versity flags are quite high, since the school in 2010, 2012, 2015, 2015 and 2016 flag football won state title and became state state on three other occasions (2014, 2017 and 2018). The team in 2023 reached the Class 2a Final Four of the Florida High School Athletic Association, but lost in the state semi -finals.

The structure of the High School Flag football in Florida was expanded from this year in four classes – Class 1a, class 2a, class 3a and class 4a. Seminole Ridge will compete in class 3a.

The goal for this year's team is to return to the FHSAA Class 3a State Final Four, which will take place from May 8th to 10th in the Adventhealth Training Center, the official interior training facility for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL.
