The fire was reported after 11 p.m. in the 100 block of the E High Street in Piqua

Firefighters actively fought the flames. They had several challenges.

“Unfortunately, it is very difficult to fire yourself, just because of the way the fire is in the attic,” the fire chief of Piqua, Lee Adams, told Newent Center 7.

He also said that the building in which the fire took place would probably be a total loss.

“There can be up to five different suites in the building. There have been many different companies in and from this building in recent years, so that many companies are affected, ”said Adams.

Photos show several firefighters who work to extinguish the fire.

An IWitness7 reporter also sent a video in which smoke came from a building.
