Several firefighting teams battle brush fire in Berkeley County

Berkeley County, SC (toilet) – firefighters from three agencies work a large brush fire on Saturday afternoon.

The Hanahan fire brigade, the rural fire from Goose Creek and the Joint Base Charleston Fire fight against what they call a large brush fire, while a fire station continues for the red flag for the state, since the conditions that make forest fires are more dangerous. (Hanahan fire brigade)

The Hanahan fire brigade, the rural fire from Goose Creek and the Joint Base Charleston Fire fight against the fire at Henry E. Brown Boulevard near Tanner Ford Boulevard, said Hanahan Fire on his Facebook page.

The reaction has reduced traffic in the immediate vicinity to a single lane.

Firefighters ask people to avoid the area and find an alternative route.

Most of South Carolina will get under a red flag fire station on Saturday at 11 a.m. due to an increased forest fire in 11 a.m.

The state is under a fire warning issued by the South Carolina Forestry Commission from the red flag, since there is a higher risk of forest fires. The agency accuses the combination of dry conditions, low humidity and gusty winds to create conditions that could make it possible to quickly get out of control.
