SFPD consider virtual town hall to be used for police fees where drone help was used

The police authority in San Francisco published new information and videos from the police last week in which a person was violated. The police flew a drone over the area to support this incident.

What we know:

The shootout occurred on Saturday, March 8, in the 41st Avenue in the outer Sunset.

The police said they were called by a resident who said a man had a gun in hand and cried out their children to be calm when they played in their own garden.

You can see the man who shows the weapon over the fence of drone material published on Tuesday at a virtual meeting of the town hall. Then the officers fired several shots. SFPD boss Bill Scott said at the time that it was not clear whether the suspect first fired his weapon.

Suspicious identified

The suspect is identified as a 46-year-old Dmitri Hochstatter.

“Several officials reported that Mr. Hochstatter fired a shot. We are still examining to confirm exactly what happened to this situation, and we cannot give you any conclusive answers at this time,” said Chief Scott at the meeting of the virtual town hall.

The suspect was hit by shots and taken to the hospital for non -life -threatening injuries.

A firearm was recovered from the scene. No officers were injured.

What's next:

An internal examination of the shootout lasts and an investigation by the public prosecutor's office in San Francisco.

The SFPD guideline gives the department 10 days to prevent a “Stadthals” meeting in shootings in which their civil servants are involved.
