Shooting examination – Sheriffs Office by Stafford County

Detectives continue the examination of a shootout in South Stafford last night.

On February 28th at 6:35 p.m., the MPs reacted to the division of Stratford Place for a ruthless driver and a fault. A federal law enforcement officer of the federal government had confronted a motorcyclist who ruthlessly drove through the area with a blue and white off-road motorcycle.

The motorcyclist left the area, but returned with family members a short time later. The MPs stopped the motorcyclist and his family members in a white Lincoln near the intersection of North Jenny Lynn Road and Cross Cut Lane. The three family members began a disturbance with the MPs and the federal government -free law enforcement officer, which was still in the region. The MPs tried to suppress the disorder, but it became physically.

During the disorder, a 61-year-old male resident of a nearby house of the scene approached and was involved. The federal government's weapon dismissed law enforcement officers and the 61-year-old resident was hit in the chest. This resident was taken to the hospital and was unfortunately succumbed to his injuries last night.

As a result of the first examination, Nicolas Vazquez, 20, Angel Vazquez (21) and Xavier Vazquez (46) were charged with assault and battery due to law enforcement authorities, attacks by mob, conspiracy to commit crime and an obstacle. All three were included in the Rappahannock regional prison without bond. A booking photo is not yet available for Angel Vazquez.

A MP received minor injuries during the incident and was grazed by the ball. We pray for a quick recovery. None of the MPs fired a weapon.

This is an ongoing study and although we spoke to many witnesses last night, we ask all other witnesses to contact our office. If you have information or a video about the incident or the ruthless motorcyclist, please contact Detective Boyle at the number 540-658-4400.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the deceased resident.
