Shooting near Highway 99 injured one

The sheriff office of the Sheriff of the Stanislaus County examines a shootout that took place on the outskirts of Turlock and has entered a person to the hospital.

The shootout was reported on February 25 at W. Taylor Road and the Highway 99 Offramp at 3:30 a.m.

When the MPs arrived, they found a Hispanic male adult victim who suffered from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment with the ambulance. According to the sheriff's office, it is listed in a stable but critical state.

The main department of the sheriff was notified and took control of the investigation.

A suspect was not identified.
