Shopper becomes viral over Rant, which calls out harmful fashion influencers: “absolutely terrible”

In a viral video bar that has received more than 3,000 comments, Tikkeker Gabe Saututter (@oh_hey_its_get) showed his disgust with fashion trends that should be “timeless” but hardly take a few seconds.

During the one-minute rant, Sambas gave, originally an indoor soccer shoe that is now an Adidas sneaker and sold for around $ 100. According to the gift, although it was a timeless trend six months ago, fashion influencers decided that the Samba is no longer.

@OH_HEY_ITS_GENT “stop taking care of trends and just wear what you like.” Oh brother! #Trends #oh_hey_its_GeGabe24 ♬ Original -sound – gabe saututter

When he found that trends come and go, he also gave tips on how to recognize a “microtrend” that does not last long from something that can pass the test of the time. He advised people to deal with anything that comes from “extreme” fast fashion retailers when the quality is “absolutely terrible” and the trend is simply “ugly”.

These uninterrupted fashion trends lead to excessive waste. People who are trapped in them can waste money for articles that they do not wear after a few months. Since many of these objects are poorly made, they often end up in overcrowded landfills (or even on beaches) instead of economy shops or as hand-me downs.

Fast fashion brands are known for producing trendy clothing quickly – and throwing away the excess as soon as popularity decreases. Their productions often waste water, encompass toxic materials in fabric and, according to Earthday.org, violate the human rights of their workers. According to Business Insider, the fashion industry is the second largest water consumer of the planet and shares responsibility for toxic microplastics in the oceans.

“Wearing what makes you happy never goes out of fashion,” said a commentator.

“The sambas point is so real (I never got into her, but it is crazy to see how the switch happens in real time),” remarked another person, while someone else noticed: “Sambas are literally and really classic and never go out of style imho.”
