Patna: A subinpector, stationed on the Pahapur Police Station in East Champaran District, was suspended Motihari SP Swarn Prabhat On Thursday after their short videos for social media platforms became viral in uniform.

The East Champaran SP Prabhat said that a complaint against Gupta was received in this regard. “There were allegations against them to make videos during the inspections. The residents stated to make videos for social media in the police station while traveling in government vehicles and in bank inspections. This not only raises questions about their work morality, but also harms the police,” said the SP and added after an investigation that the official was hired.
“Bihar police previously warned his staff about unnecessary social media activities. Further department measures are taken for such an indiscipline, “said the SP.
General Director of Police Vinay Kumar has clearly instructed the staff that they shouldn't do Social media videos in uniform during working hours.
Guppa has over 12,000 followers on a popular social media -networking website, and their videos receive thousands of views.
