Six in the examination of Black Hawk County examined not compliant sex offenders

Waterloo, Iowa (KCRG) – The US marshal service worked with the law enforcement authorities of Black Hawk County this week in order to examine non -compliant sex offenders.

The program entitled Operation Black Hawk County aims to protect local districts by carrying out conformity tests for sex offenders throughout the district.

The law enforcement authorities of Black Hawk County carried out 284 compliance checks and arrested six perpetrators over three days due to outstanding arrest warrants.

The law enforcement authorities identified a registered perpetrator as an active deportation order by immigration and custom enforcement (ICE). The officials took the person in custody and ice cream transported him from Black Hawk County. He is currently expecting the deportation to the state of Myanmar.

“The security and well-being of our community has our highest priority,” says Christopher Barther, US marshal for the northern district of Iowa. “We are still obliged to work tirelessly, to use every available resource to protect our citizens, to maintain the law and to ensure that there is justice.”
