Sixth suspect in connection with fatal shooting of Birmingham Man Jamarcus McINTYRE charged

A sixth person was charged with the fatal shooting of the Birmingham man Jamarcus Mcintyre.

According to court documents, Crishawn Ja'mel McLemore-Bruce was charged with a weapon in September 2024 due to capital murder/robbery.

The Birmingham police authority said Mcintyre was shot in the 700 block of the 81st Street South. He was then taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead.

Court documents show that McLemore bruce is accused of having stolen a backpack from Mcintyre by force while he was armed, which led to Mcintyre “deliberately” led to the death of Mcintyre.

The arrests of the other five suspects, 22-year-old Damien McDaniel, 22-year-old Ny'quan Lollar, 31-year-old Larry Rollins Jr., 29-year-old Demarco Beck and Zachary Alexander Holmes were announced during a police press conference last year.
