Crystal Palace is in the middle of three weeks of competitive ideas and the pace of the Premier League time plan. It is undoubtedly a valuable break in which warm weather in Spain helps to recharge this last route of the league and cup games.

Despite the non -taking games, there was still a flow of news and speculations about the future of manager Oliver Glasner, who, as reported, is in discussions to extend his contract in the club.

With just over a year to run his current deal, it is clear that the Austrian has grown his reputation since his arrival. English football often does not know that it trains success on the continent on the continent until they “check” the box here. Glasner was one of these coaches, but now the interest in him will probably only develop.

Without intended to control in exaggeration (whereas this does this anyway), securing Oliver Glasner can be the most important performance that the club could organize before this summer.

A historical perspective to examine its effects on the palace only gives this thought process.

In the modern era of the club in the Premier League, in which he declines 12 seasons, the team played 446 games in the top class, with 12 men led from the shelter of dugout – only as a caretaker.

When Glasner decided against the records of all of these managers, he stands up for several reasons. He is the only manager with more victories than losses (17 against 12) and the only one with a positive difference in target (+18), while he has an average of 1.54 points per game.

After taking over the fourth most frequent league games in this era, he already matched the victory in 24 games, Patrick Vieira.

His teams achieved the highest number of goals per game on average, and only Tony Pulis's outstanding 26-game magic had a better defensive record per game.

Glasner has now convinced us. The club may have to convince him of staying, and that will probably mean supporting him financially and trust beyond one of these former managers.

There are small windows for success in football, and one is currently open to Palace. The club and the chairman were traditionally risk avers, but this trainer is worth it to continue the cubes.
