Smart tips to take care of kidneys in summer

After the global trend, the summer in Bengaluru will be hotter every year. Another summer season is there and seems to be hotter at the beginning than last year. Bengaluru temperatures were far above us in February. We have to prepare and make changes to our lifestyle to stay healthy in the summer months.
Our kidneys need special attention when the temperatures rise because they have to work particularly hard to maintain the balance between liquid and electrolyte and remove the toxins from the body.
In order to carry out these functions, kidneys need blood flow at a speed of 600 to 800 ml per minute. In dehydrated states such as excessive sweating, the blood flow to the kidneys is reduced and the kidney function worsens. Therefore, there is an increased risk of acute kidney injuries due to dehydration in the summer months. The risk is higher if infections with diarrhea or vomiting or absorption of painkillers are available. Repeated kidney injuries such as people who work in hot and moist environments such as miners can lead to chronic kidney diseases. Hot weather and sweating also lead to the formation of the concentrated urine, which leads to the formation of kidney stones and to increase the size of existing kidney stones. From reducing the urine flow also makes people who are susceptible to urinary tract infections. So it is extremely important to moist.Who is at risk?
