Snow probably along/south of the I-90

Rapid City, SD (Kota) – The clouds rise overnight with a few snow showers until morning. Snow will really develop and fill out by lunchtime and afternoon.

Expect that the snow will be continued on Thursday evening before rejuvenating itself on Friday morning. The accumulations will be enough to ensure slippery roads in parts of the Kota territory, mainly on Thursday afternoon until Friday morning.

The snow sums vary depending on the location. The highest sums will take place in Southern Campbell County with 8 “-12” snow. Gillette, Hot Springs, Custer, Pine Ridge and Martin will probably record 4 “-9” snow. 3 “-6” is expected for Rapid City with 2 “-5” in lead, hot springs and sundance. Speerfish and Sturgis are preserved 1 “-3”, while Belle Foursh, Wall, Philip and Kadoka will absorb a dust on 2 inches. Everywhere north of these places it will probably not see any snow at all.
