“I look most of the Irish dancers. And I keep coming out because I love the people in this neighborhood,” said Mackenzie Kruger.

“I love the community. I've been doing this since I was about six years old. The energy, it is just that you have to be from here to experience it,” said Tim Osborne.

Along the Abbott Road, the celebrations continued with a lot of music and dance.

The Buffalo Irish Center naturally organized his year -on -year in Saint Patrick's Day with music, food and guinness.

“Great music, great dancing, sports and literature. So we try to celebrate all this in the Buffalo Center this weekend,” said chairman Tim Flanagan.

For Thomas Heneghan, owner of Tara Gifting Shoppe, the Irish weekend means an increase in business.

“Christmas is our most busy, but this is our second largest. He gets a little wild here. You never know what will happen. Today we have two cars before the bumps of tires from bumps and curb. So excited to get to the Irish center,” said Heneghan.

The business in South Buffalo has been in the family for almost 50 years.

“You all have your Aran -Strick -sweater, your Claddagh rings, which of course are so popular, of course your Barry tea, which is right behind me. Everyone must have their Irish tea,” added Heneghan.

For Heneghan, every cap, every cup and every key chain is an opportunity to share its culture.

“Exactly the Irish culture. Yes, together with the Irish dancers and the music, you know, it's all about your culture, your story where you come,” said Heneghan.
