Started after the death of a murder examination

A murder examination was initiated and two arrests were made after a woman's body was found in her house.

The police officers from Südwales were called on the property in the Gomer Road in Townsea, Swansea on February 27 at 2:00 p.m. GMT.

The troop has confirmed that the woman was the 47-year-old Leanne Williams.

Two men were arrested as part of the investigation and are currently in police custody.

In an explanation, the armed force said that a post -mortem had been carried out and that “significant injuries in harmony with an attack” had been determined.

Det Supt Mark O'Shea said the “tragic news was a shock for the community”.

“We put together on Leann's known movements from 18:00 on Monday, February 24th until 2:20 p.m. the following Thursday when she was found by the officers,” he added.

He said the police were not looking for anyone at this point in this matter.

A police cord remains on the spot at the address in the Gomer Road.
