This was a rare gesture from Smith, and he may show his appreciation for 'Chase Master' Kohli, who was again the manager behind India's successful chase.

Kohli also hugged Glenn Maxwell, his former teammate at Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The duo spoke for a short time before shook his hand on other players.

Both Kohli and Smith had a good day in the office. However, it was Kohli's efforts that triumphed about Smith and Australia. The 36-year-old was convicted of the player of the game for his knocking of 84 runs of 98 balls when India flee the finish of 265 with four gates in his hand and 11 balls.

Who is India exposed to in the final?

This is the third master trophy in a row for India and the team is now waiting for the winner of the South Africa against the New Zealand semi -finals in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

India comfortably followed the total of playing valuable knocks as Virat Kohli (84), Shreyas Iyer (45) and KL Rahul (42*) without making the pressure from India better.
