Stone Cold Steve Austin comments CM Punk relationship, potential WWE -Match

WWE

Stone Cold Steve Austin commented on his relationship with WWE Raw Star Cm Punk and a potential game between the two in the future.

Both returned to the company during his first run in WWE and since cm punk in November 2023, was a dream game between himself and Stone Cold Steve Austin something that many fans asked for.

During an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Austin was asked about his relationship with Punk, to whom he described punk as his friend, although the couple did not speak regularly.

Austin said:

“Oh, I and punk are friends from the back, there was a picture of probably in my heyday. And he is much younger than me, and we got a picture there and he is just a young child.

“And so I think he was a stone -cold fan at the time and I am a cm punk fan. I am a fan of his work and his promos Jesus Christ can light someone.

“So we don't talk much. We will send each other a text from time to time, but we are probably really, really good friends who don't speak much and respect each other much. “

Austin would then be asked whether punk may be his last WWE opponent and replied:

“Oh man, there are so many potential great games that I have to starve empty and think for a few minutes. But would he be on the list? Naturally.”

At the one -year anniversary of his WWE return in November, Punk shared an SMS that he had sent to Survivor Series and Austin's shocked answer to Austin before returning to WWE.

While a potential match with Austin stays in the air, Punk will officially compete in a steel cage game next Monday (March 10th) in Seth Rollins.
