Strong winds mean that thousands loses electricity in the Pulaski Co.

Pulaski County, Ky. (Wymt) – Strong winds led to the fact that thousands of people in South Kentucky lost power on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Crews from South Kentucky Recc and Kentucky Utilities worked on the restoration of electricity.

The problems in the Pulaski district began as wind and gusts of wind.

Several thousand people alone lost power. Many of them were in the eastern part of the district, but civil servants said that problems in the entire Pulaski district are widespread.

Once 10,000 customers had no power supply, but the number fell to around 5,000 late Wednesday morning.

However, some have concerns that the situation could worsen before it gets better.

Wymt was announced that several followers and buildings were damaged by the strong winds, including one on the Pine Grove Road.

Officials are still working on assessing the damage.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
