The following is a press release from the Sheriff office of the Bonneville County.

Ammon – The deputies of the Sheriff Bonneville County examine a threat to a student at the Sandcreek Middle School in Ammon.

A report was created on Monday evening a report in which a student threatened to bring a weapon to school. The MPs were able to localize the student and the parents in their residence late Monday, and an investigation is underway.

The student involved will not take part in the school on Tuesday, and at that time there is no information that indicates another threat or a problem that has not been addressed. The Sandcreek Middle School will operate after a normal schedule today and additional resources from the sheriff's office will be appropriately available.
