Schreiner University announces the appointment of Keith Allen as head coach of the mountaineers.

Everyone brings an abundance of experiences from both college and high school football. All, born Tulsa, born Oklahoma, has made a name for himself as an outstanding leader in football.

He trained at the King's Academy and the Southwest Baptist University, where he became the most successful coach in school history. Under his leadership, his teams won several conference championships and made impressive state championship runs. In recognition of his success, he was appointed football coach of the year 2018-19 of the National High School Federation State of Florida.

During his 19-year term in college coaching, everyone was called to design dynamic crimes and to lead robust special teams.

His career includes an effective roles at institutions such as the University of Oklahoma, Northeast Louisiana University, Texas Christian University, Quincy University, San Jose State University and the Southwest Baptist University.

Allen philosophy focuses on sporting excellence, character development and academic success. His recruitment strategy focuses on resilience, grit and determination to form student athletes that are characterized by both the field and in their studies.

“We are very pleased that coaches bring all his experience and success to the Schreiner University football program,” said President Charlie McCormick. “He understands our institutional obligations and is ready to help us build up a high -quality program that focuses on excellence in competition, academics and the commitment of the community.”
