Sudbury firefighters extinguish fire in the local restaurant

Sudbury – boss Timothy Choate reports that the fire brigade of Sudbury and its mutual auxiliary partners quickly put down a working fire in a local restaurant early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, March 5, at 12:47 p.m., Sudbury Firefighters received a warning from a fire suppression system in Lotus Blossom, 394 Boston Post Road (Route 20), about the conditions in the restaurant.

On arrival, firefighters saw Rauch from the back of the building. They pressed themselves into the kitchen and confronted the fire conditions.

The crews immediately attacked the fire and hit it shortly afterwards. There were no injuries.

Part of the Boston Post Road was closed for a little more than an hour than the crews on the fire.

Mutual help with mutual help was provided by the fire brigades Wayland and Framingham. The crews of Concord, Marlborough and Maynard covered stations.

The fire is examined by the fire brigade of Sudbury and the State Police Fire & Explosion Investigation Unit, which was assigned to the office of the state firefighter.
