Suny Potsdam organizes the punishment for potential students

Potsdam-Suny Potsdam will organize his first day of criminal judiciary, which should present career opportunities at the law enforcement authorities on Thursday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free event is organized in cooperation with the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice as well as the registration office and offers an immersive experience to support potential students to explore the subject area.

The activities for the day of the criminal justice include:

  • Live K-9 demonstration: Observe a trained law enforcement dog in action and see you as searched.
  • Student and alumni interaction: Connect to the current Suny Potsdam penalty studies and the youngest graduates to hear their experiences and insights into the major.
  • Tour of the police academy: Explore the Law Enforcement Training Institute that offers qualified Bachelor-Cadets before employment who have the chance to train with committed officials from local authorities.
  • Career connections: Make recruiters from various law enforcement and law enforcement agencies to discuss the choices of career opportunities in this area.
  • Lunch on campus: Enjoy a meal in one of the dining rooms on campus and experience a little life on campus, surrounded by students and faculties.

Optional tours guided by approvals are also available for students who want to explore more from Suny Potsdam Campus. The tours take place immediately before and after the activities of the Criminal Justice Day and give a look at academic buildings, science laboratories, art stone, student association, dormitories and the Maxcy Hall Athletic Complex.

“We are pleased to organize the day of criminal justice and to present the diverse opportunities in the field,” said Dr. David Bugg, professor and chairman of the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice. “This event is a fantastic opportunity for potential students to see first -hand first -hand what makes our program unique and how it can prepare for a successful career in criminal justice.”
