Suspect in a critical state according to Love's park of officer-affected shooting

Loves Park, Ill. (Wifr) – A suspect is in a critical condition on Thursday after a shootout is confirmed with officials from Love Park Police Department. Confirm officials from the department.

On February 26, 26 a.m. Loves Park Police says that officials were called in the 500 block of the River Lane to maintain a domestic disorder in which someone was involved. The officials later learned that the man went away from the house with a rifle.

According to reports, the officers found the suspect near the 600 block of the Sheridan Drive and said that the suspect had held the long gun rifle and threatened to violate himself.

Officials claim that she tried to decalate the situation through conversation, but the officials fired their compulsory weapons when the suspect supposedly focused on the rifle.

The suspect was brought to a local hospital for surgery. No officers were injured in the incident.

The Winnebago/Boone Integrity Task Force, together with the investigators of the surrounding agencies, work on the case.
