Authorities Have Arrested David Silva-Garcia, 22, of Los Angeles, in Connection with a Fatal Crash in August 2023. The Arrest, Carried Out on Monday, February 24, 2025, is the result of 18-month multi-agency investment led by the South Pasadena Department and the Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Task Force (La Impact).

Suspect in Northhridge arrested

Silva-Garcia was detained in the 9200 block of the Reseda Boulevard in Northhridge after the authorities had issued an arrest warrant against his arrest. The fees result from a fatal traffic collision in the Orange Grove Avenue in South Pasadena, which led to a comprehensive examination.

Diagained charges submitted against Silva-Garcia

After a thorough review of the case, the public prosecutor's office in Los Angeles submitted three crimes against Silva-Garcia:

  • PC 187 (A) – Murder
  • VC 23153 (A) – Driving under the influence of alcohol that causes bodily harm
  • VC 23153 (B) – driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher, caused by injuries

Silva-Garcia is currently taking place in the Pasadena City prison with a deposit of $ 2,000,000 and is to be charged on February 25, 2025 at the Pasadena Superior Court.
