Suspicious vehicle near the White House examined

Washington – A suspicious vehicle examination near the White House initiated a road closure in DC early Monday.

From 6:30 a.m., the civil servants of the Metropolitan Police Department and the US secret service agents will be in the 15th Street Northwest. As a precaution, the spokesman for the intelligence agency Anthony Guglielmi says that the lanes to the north in 15th Street are closed in the Avenue constitution and the lanes towards south are closed in the F Street.

The upper and lower Pennsylvania Avenue are closed in 14th Street, said Guglielmi.

These closures are currently in force and can cause traffic disorders. The drivers are recommended to avoid the area and to look for alternative routes. Please follow the instructions from the police staff before the scene.
