T-Mobile US sets up a 6CA downlink record

T-Mobile US has teamed up with Nokia and Qualcomm to break the downlink data rates of recorddown link using six-carrier aggregation (6ca) in tests in a spectrum with a low and medium volume in the operator's 5G network (SA) of the operator (SA).

In the first trial version, a Samsung Galaxy S25 device and Qualcomm Snapdragon X80 5G-RF chip was carried out, which has reached 4.3 GB/s.

A second test used the Snapdragon X85 5G modem-RF chip from Qualcomm on a non-commercial mobile test device to bring 5G-advanced downlink speeds to a tip of 6.3 GB/s.

In both tests, the 5G device from Nokia with massive Mimo radios, beam formation techniques, wearing carriers with high order and modulation with high order was used.

The operator stated that the data rates for data record disorders were achieved in real field conditions using 2.5 GHz, PCS, AWS and 600 MHz spectrum.
