Trenton – Governor Phil Murphy presented the final budget of his two terms in office on Tuesday, a proposal of almost 58.1 billion US dollars, which contains more money for schools and public transport, but could be increased by uncertainty about federal financing.

Murphy revealed the budget during a speech to a joint session of the democratically guided legislature when he received his last year in office. Primary campaigns to fulfill it are already underway.

The governor accused the expenditure plan as a fulfillment of campaign promises, e.g.

“Although we have come wide on this trip, let me be absolutely clear: we have not yet reached the finish line,” said Murphy. He quoted what he called “the noise of chaos and confusion in Washington” and promised to present more than 6 billion US dollars of surpluses to protect himself from “unforeseen challenges”.

“We are not yet finished, and next year our absolute top priority – as has been the case since day 1 – will deliver economic security,” said Murphy.

The government expenditure is now 63% higher than with Phil Murphy for the first time.

Despite a multi-billion dollar deficit, Murphy increases the expenditure in its final budget by a further $ 1.4 billion.

Murphy wants to increase taxes on houses worth over 1 million US dollars, internet game, alcohol and marijuana.

They are exhibited by a private company. They can be easily replicated or changed. It is not an official plate, so someone could easily change it to avoid recognition. “
