TCL Overhaul of LGS Premium TV sales is the inevitable result of OLED's biggest problem and the greatest strength of mini-LED

TCL has exceeded LG's sales on the Premium TV market and took second place behind Samsung.

The turnover of TCL, manufacturer of some of the best mini-LED TVs, accounted for 2024 20% of all premium television sales.

The data provided by Contrapoint Research show an enormous market share of the Premium TV sales between 2023 and 2024, whereby the proportion of TCL drops from 12% to 20% and LGS from 26% to 19%.

So if mini-LED TV manufacturers are aggressively in price, why don't OLED do not compete? Realistically speaking, it cannot and is not so fast based on what was told by manufacturers. These are numbers like these who point out why people on the market for a premium TV are more likely to choose a mini-over-oled and signal why brands such as TCL and hisense take higher percentages from the market share of large brands such as LG and Samsung. The trend is to buy larger TVs, but people are not getting richer, so they want to compensate for the size and price-and the TV manufacturers of T-Buck-TV are the beneficiary.

This does not mean that people do not buy OLED TVs with large screens, since 77- and 83-inch models are published every year, and we know that they are popular with enthusiasts.
