[Jackson, TN] – Jackson's police officers examine a shootout that took place on March 5, 2025 at around 3:00 p.m. in the 100 Block of Dustin Drive.

When the officials arrived, they found a 15-year-old male adolescent who suffered from a gunshot wound in the residence. The victim was brought to a local hospital by medical emergency services. Tragically, the victim died of the consequences of his injuries.

During the examination, a 16-year-old man was detained as a survey at the crime scene. After the 16-year-old submitted the results of the district prosecutor and carried out a careful review, the 16-year-old was charged with criminal murder.

The police authority of the city of Jackson expresses their deepest sympathy for the family of the deceased and all the participants.
