Teenager dies after weekend shooting in Cahokia Heights

Cahokia Heights, Ill. – The municipality of Cahokia Heights mourns the basis of another tragic shootout that led the life of a teenager.

The main case of the greater St. Louis area confirmed that one of the teenagers died at the weekend.

The 15-year-old Charles E. Jones was in a critical condition after the double shooting on Saturday in the 100 Block of Lazarcheff Drive.

The main suitcase squad announced his death in a release from 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

They also added that their detectives made considerable progress when examining the shootout.

“Detectives have thought of over 60 leads since the beginning of the investigation. Interesting people have been developed and some people are currently custody, ”says the press release. “Since this remains an active examination, no further details on names or potential fees are currently being published.”

The residents of the community said that they were fed up with the violence, especially of one in which young people are involved.

The investigators follow several leads, and the main -case squad asks people with information to report.
