Tesla explosion: FBI examines vehicles and burned on fire in Las Vegas.

A person who was dressed in black shot and set up several Tesla vehicles in a repair system in Las Vegas early Tuesday, the police said in what the FBI examines as a possible act of domestic terrorism.

“This was a targeted attack against a Tesla facility,” said deputy sheriff Dori Koren at the Las Vegas police department in a press conference on Tuesday.

At 2:45 a.m., several 911 calls were made to report a fire in the facility, said Koren.

“The officials discovered several vehicles in flames and the word” resist “that corresponds to the front doors of the business,” he said.

Police departments in the United States have examined a wave of attacks on exhibition rooms that belong to Tesla stations and vehicles, whose CEO Elon Musk has taken on a controversial federal cost impact in the so -called efficiency of the government.

“The crush of violent attacks on Tesla's ownership is almost domestic terrorism,” said the U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi on Tuesday in a statement.

“The Ministry of Justice has already calculated several perpetrators, even in cases where fees contain a five -year minimum penalty.”

Surveillance video showed that a person who was dressed in black shots on the cars and lit two of them with Molotow cocktails according to the police. A non -exploded Molotow cocktail was found in a third car and is now being examined for evidence.

No injuries were reported and the fire brigade extinguished the fires before they could reach the batteries of the vehicles.

On March 3, seven Tesla charging stations were set on fire in a shopping center outside of Boston. Five days later in New York City, six demonstrators were arrested because they had occupied an exhibition space. In Colorado, a woman was accused of destroying Molotow cocktails and vandalisions and an exhibition room.

“This level of violence is crazy and deeply wrong,” said Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, about X.
“Tesla only does electric cars and has done nothing to earn these evil attacks.”

The common terrorism -Sksk Force of the FBI is investigating the recent incident in Las Vegas, said Spencer Evans, special representative who is responsible for the FBI Las Vegas Field Office.

“For those who think that something like this is justified or possibly even admirable, we want you to know that this is a federal crime,” added Evans.

Last week Bondi announced an investigation and swore against vandalism against Tesla vehicles and exhibition rooms.

“When you touch a Tesla, go to a dealer, do better because we meet after you.

While there were no reports on injuries in the middle of the vandalism reports, the incidents are a potential financial problem for Tesla. The company is being exposed to declining sales for the first time because they have expanded the competition and the counter reaction to Musks controversial role in the Trump administration.

Tesla recently reported the first decline in annual turnover in its history, and there are signs of sales that has dropped again in this quarter. While the total turnover of electric vehicles in Europe rose by 34% in January, Teslas's turnover fell by 50%. Tesla's turnover fell by 29%in the first two months of the year, according to Reuters in China – the second largest market in the USA.

And the US turnover of Tesla fell by 16%between December and January, according to an estimate by Cox Automotive.
