Texas rapper G $ Lil Ronnie, daughter killed at shooting: reports

A 5-year-old girl and a 30-year-old man, who was supposedly local rapper G $ Lil Ronnie, was killed in a shootout in a car.

The police said two suspects had opened fire at the victims shortly before 11 a.m. in Forest Hill, a suburb of about 30 miles west of Dallas. Officers carried out life -saving measures, but both victims were declared dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation showed that, according to the Forest Hill Police Department, the suspects had fled the scene in a white four -door Kia after approaching the victim's vehicle. There is an active capital murder order for arrests from the suspects whose names have not yet been shared.

A witness at the scene said that they heard about 20 to 30 shots, reported the local station KTVT.

This year the shootout is the fourth and fifth murders in Forest Hill compared to no one in 2024, the police authority said.

Aunt said Smith had no known enemies: report

Friends and family have identified the man who, as a rapper Ronnie “Lilronnie” Smith, also known as G $ Lil Ronnie, according to the local stations WFAA and KTVT.

Smith's aunt Stella Houston said her nephew had no known enemies she knew, reported WFAA.

“He was a good child. He was,” said Houston to Wfaa. “He didn't bother Nooty.”

Smith had around 40,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. His highest streaming track was “Hoodfame Killuminati”, from a 2018 collaborative project with Go Yayo, whose real name is Kyrin Xavier Peters.

Peters published a photo of the two in his Instagram history on Monday and wrote “Life or Death 4 U Big Brudda”.
