Texas State publishes 2025 football plan – the university star

The 2025 time plan of the Texas State Football, which was announced on Friday by Texas State Athletics, Pairs High-Stakes Conference Matchups with a non-conference street test against a reigning college football playoff candidate.

The 12-game slate of the Bobcats contains six home competitions, including a showdown on Tuesday and night against James Madison, and road trips to Arizona State and the I-35 rival UTSA.

The state of Texas opens the season on August 30th against Eastern Michigan before renewing the I-35 showdown rivality on September 6th in UTSA. The Marquee-Nnicht conference game will take place on September 13 with a trip to Arizona State, the 2024 Big 12-Champion and the district of the college football playoff. The Bobcats wrap the non-League game on September 20 by organizing Nicholls for the family weekend and the “fight for the paddle”.

The Bobcats stand in front of all six opponents of the West Division and organize Troy (October 11th – Home), Ulm (November 22nd) and South Alabama (November 29 – Senior Day). The road trips include Louisiana (November 8), Arkansa's State (October 4) and Southern Miss (November 15). Cross-Division-Matchups send the state of Texas to take over the defending Sun Belt-Champion Marshall (October 18) and bring James Madison to San Marcos to a game “Black Out” (October 28) to San Marcos.

After two wins of Bowls and 8-5 records in 2024 and 2025, the state of Texas has increased in dynamics, its best Sun Belt since 2014. Head coach GJ Kinne, who has collected with eight winnings with eight winnings with a program record, gives back a roster that is aimed at the title of Sun Belt-Champion title.
