The 17-year-old, who is shot at Stockton, is identified

A 17-year-old died in the hospital after being shot in Stockton early Wednesday morning. The members of the police identified him as Jamal Calbert. At around 1:45 a.m., the officials responded to the shooting report in the 600 block of the Dovewood Street in the Valley Oak District, the police said. Calbert was found in a garage with a gunshot wound on his torso area. His grandmother Nora Roots described Calbert as “pretty relaxed”. Roots said Calbert's father also died of gun violence. “I went through that ten years ago,” she said. “His father, my son, like ten years ago with the same thing.” No arrest was made from Wednesday afternoon. “There are still many evidence that needs to be collected,” said Omer Edhah with the Stockton police. The other teenager, Julian Martinez, was shot near the skate park in Anderson Park last month. Two other teenagers were arrested on February 18 in connection with his death.
