The 20-year-old was arrested because he allegedly shot a person in West Toledo

Toledo, Ohio – a man was arrested because he allegedly shot another person in West Toledo early Sunday morning.

According to court documents, Maurion Mitchell, 20, was involved in a discussion of the victim in the 1300 block of the Eleanor Avenue when he shot a firearm and the victim struck on the left side of the chest and left arm.

The victim was taken to the hospital, but her condition is unknown.

Mitchell was arrested shortly before 4 a.m. and is charged with offenders. He is to be charged on Monday morning in front of the Toledo community court.
