The Abbeville police are looking for suspects on Friday morning

Abbeville, La. – Shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday, the Abbeville police department replied to a call about a man who drove down the street he had been shot.

The man drove to the Abbeville General Hospital, where he was stabilized and taken to another nearby hospital.

The officials learned that the man had come into a heated argument with another person who was identified as Tyler Jontey Mitchell, who took out a gun and fired several rounds. The victim was hit twice and another round went into the victim's vehicle.

APD now has an arrest warrant against Mitchell for a count, the attempted second degree murder, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments and tightened criminal damage.
