The act of the friendliness of the Georgetown police officer was taken on video and captured

Georgetown, Ky. (Lex 18) – The accidental act of the friendliness of a police officer from Georgetown goes much further than just Georgetown after a video in which a sweet moment was used on Facebook.

Small friendship files can take a long way, but not all of them are caught on video. The police officer was shot on Friday by Georgetown, Rodney Johnson, and showed his random act of friendliness.

“Well, it was just a normal routine patrol, I drove with Paris Pike and I noticed that the traffic was supported,” explains Johnson.

He realized that it was because a woman tried to go home in a wheelchair. Without hesitation, Johnson parked his cruiser, switched on his light and started rolling on the street.

The traffic stopped until he returned to his cruiser.

“It was only instinctive. I mean that it is what we are here to help people. And when I went, I got behind them and just pushed them home. And without knowledge I took a lady and I had no idea,” said Johnson.

The video, which was recorded by a person, drove by and sent to the Georgetown police, which it then published on Facebook. The video has already reached 1,300 views, and several people thanked Johnson for his friendliness.

“We are out here to do a job that you know that you can help people as much as possible, and then they know that they have so much love and respect to come from the public. That is very humble,” said Johnson. “This is what we do. We serve and protect the community. We help people who have to be helped, and sometimes when people do not help themselves, we enter and we offer this help they need.”

Johnson says you never know when someone is watching. He follows the motto “Do the right one, even if nobody is watching.”
