The ARC's Club Day will concentrate on fundraising – the American river current

The American River College will organize its spring semester on February 25th in the stem quad.

In this semester, the club and event board focused more on collecting donations during the club day. This is the first club day in which all participating tables will be fundraising campaigns. According to the CAEB president Sapeidah Saeedi.

“We wanted to concentrate this club day as possible on the fundraising campaign. There will be no additional activities, it is only for clubs to sell your things … it will be pretty easy, ”said Saeedi.

Despite the simplicity of the plan for this club day, many functions are still offered at the event. According to Michelle Hernandez, the representative of Caeb Puente, the Puente Club Aguas Frescas and Horchata will sell at its table. Other clubs, such as the Electrical Innovation Club, still choose how to collect donations.

“At the moment, people are presenting ideas about the Discord server, but there are some things we want to do. We have a person who prints some battery models with the club name, ”said Andrew Donnelly, club president.

According to Luna Contreras, the film club will also be at the Club Day, which sells concessions such as Popcorn and Candy at its table and advertises its upcoming film “The Bucket List”.

According to Saeeidi, 16 clubs signed for tables on February 25th. However, she hopes that 30 clubs register and have some of the resource centers for participation.

On February 25th between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., have a look at the quad to snap Popcorn, connect with other students and to support ARC clubs.
