The Atlanta police are examining fatal double shots in the tire shop – 95.5 WSB

Jonesboro – The Atlanta police are investigating a fatal double shootout, which took place on Thursday afternoon near a JMR tire business in Jonesboro in Southeast Attatant.

Andrew Smith, commander of APD, said the authorities had received a call for shots. The investigators believe that the shootings were attributed to a dispute that escalated to violence and they are working to determine the roles of everyone involved.

When officials arrived at the scene, they found a man dead. A second man was taken to the hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries. A third man who was intact is accepted as the son of the tire owner – one of the two men killed. He was arrested and is asked at the headquarters of the police authority in Atlanta to determine whether the shootout was in self -defense.

Neighbor Cleeedette Jordan described the shopkeeper as a generous man and demands justice. “Whoever did that, they have to be caught because this man would have given you the shirt off your back,” she said.

The examination remains open and continued because the authorities work to put together the events before shooting.
