All eyes are aimed at Atlantic City and the 2025 Hercules Reifen -Maac Championships from Tuesday, March 11, but it still works. The Jaspers took care of the business on Thursday with the greatest victory of the season against the Canisius Golden Griffins and stopped a berth in the post -season tournament. The green and white also kept Canisius at only 35 points at night, which was created by Manhattan's lowest total this season. Her upcoming opponent, the Niagara Purple Eagles, settled the Iona Gaels on Thursday evening for her first Maac victory of the season. When these two teams hit the last time, the Jaspers logged a 25 -point victory against Niagara. The Niagara Purple Eagles were the reigning Maac overpaid by a season. It fell on the Fairfield Stags in the 2023-24 Maac championship game.

Head coach Jada Pierce is in her 10th season as head coach of the Purple Eagles.

Manhattan and Niagara will meet for the 73rd time, with the northern Maac School historically leading with 38 wins.

Niagara achieved an 18 game loss after winning his first Maac victory in a surprise against the Iona Gaels in New Rochelle on Thursday.

The junior striker Amelia Strong, who was a leading goal scorer for the Purple Eagles one season ago, only played in 13 games and began at the age of 12 due to an injury.

Previme of all-Maac first teams and senior Guard Aaliyah Parker played in a game for Niagara this season. Parker was the leading scorer in 2023-24.

The Georgian Court Transfer Safiatu Kolliegbo broadcasts second place in the MAAC with a total of 64 and an average of 2.6 steals per game at 64.

The last meeting against the Jaspers was a 25 -point victory for Manhattan in the Gallagher Center. A second quarter operated in the second quarter of Niagara was not sufficient for the Purple Eagles in the 79-54 victory.

The Purple Eagles went between the victories against opponents of the Division I 342 days.

At the MAAC championships 2023, Manhattan Niagara took 81-68 in the Boardwalk Hall. This effectively ended the season of Lila Eagles.
