'The Buccaners' season 2 sets June Premiere date of June

“The Buccaners” season 2 officially returns on June 18. A new clip teases the return of the American girls looking for adventure and romance in London in the 1870s.

Based on Edith Wharton's novel of the same name, season 2 sees the return of Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah and Inogen Waterhouse with the occupation of ensemble, including Guy -Remmers, Matthew Broome, Josh Dylan and Barney Fishwick. The official synopsis for the show teases: “All girls were forced to grow up to hear because they struggle with romance, lust, jealousy, births and deaths.

New performers this season are Leighton Meester as Nell, Greg Wise as Reeden Robinson, Jacob Ifan as Hector Robinson, Grace Ambrose as Paloma Ballardino and Maria Almeida as Cora Merrigan.

“The Buccaners” was written by the series creator Katherine Jakeways and produced for Apple TV+ by The Forge Entertainment.

First appearance/trailer

Michelle Williams leads the new limited series “Dying for Sex” by FX in the first official trailer.

The series tells the true story of Molly Kochan (Williams) after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in stage IV. With her life plans, she decides to leave her husband (Jay Duplass), and takes a life-affirmative journey to explore sexual wishes-with the support of her best friend (Jenny Slate). The line -up also includes Sissy Spacek, Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Rasche and Esco Jouléy as well as the guest stars Marcello Hernandez, Margaret Cho, Robby Hoffman and Paula Pell.

The show was written by Kim Rosenstock (“only murders in the building”) and Elizabeth Meriwether (“New Girl”) and created together, which also executive produce. “Dying for Sex” is produced by the 20th television and begins to stream on Hulu on April 4th.

DEVELOPMENT

MACY's acquired the exclusive option rights for Julie Satows best -selling novel “When Women headed Fifth Avenue: Glamor and Power in Dawn of American Fashion”.

As part of the deal, the book is developed into a fictional television series in which Macy is currently working to find a show runner and a talent.

Satow's book tells the undefeated stories of women who have shaped departmental stories that have become a decisive part of American culture, including Dorothy Shaver, Hortense Odlum and Geraldine Stutz.

Casting

The Netflix drama series “Nemesis” added Gabrielle Dennis and Michael Potts to his line -up.

Dennis and Potts join as series guests and play Candace Stiles or James Seley. The line -up also includes Matthew Law, Cleopatra Coleman, Y'ian Noel, Domenick Lombardozzi, Tree Hale, Jonnie Park and Ariana Guerra.

The series compiled by Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole follows a criminal and police detective. “What begins as a series that aims to undermine the robbery of the robbery at every turn, which is tense with exciting things, family dynamics and explosive action, actually brings research that drives us, supports us and ultimately destroyed it,” in accordance with the official protocol.

Kemp acts as a showrunner and executive produces with Marole, Chris Selak and Philipp Barnett.

Honors

Michelle Yeoh, Selena Gomez, Don Cheadle, Jason Momoa, Sterlin Harjo and Adam McKay are among the winners of the first initiative National Geographic 33.

The National Geographic 33 is a new list curated by National Geographic to celebrate 33 numbers in various areas that work for the environment or work towards other positive goals. The award winners also include musicians Arlo Parks and Björk, the actors Edward Norton and Yara Shahidi, designer Gabriela Hearst, climate activist Jennifer Uchendu and the scientists Dr. Shu Yang and Emily Liman.
