The Columbine High School's Columbine, which climbed the fatalities almost 26 years later, when Survivor Murder's death claimed

Colorado (Krdo) – Almost 26 years later, the number of mass shootings by the Columbine High School from 1999 after the death of a survivor of the shootout in February rose for a murder.

Anne Marie Hochhalter, who was shot in the massacre and shot off the waist, died on February 16 at the age of 43. It was originally assumed that her death had been for natural causes.

In a recently completed autopsy report, the Coronian office of the Jefferson County Coroner said that its kind of death was “best classified as a murder”.

According to our Denver News Partners, the report states that high holding died sepsis, with complications from the paraplegia due to the two gunshot wounds that survived and served as a “significant factor”.

The decision means that the number of fatalities from the shootout from April 20, 1999 rose to a total of 13 students and a teacher.

In the decades after the shootout, Hochhalter used their platform to work for other victims of mass violence and to raise awareness of the paraplegic community.

In 2016 Hochhalter wrote a letter that the mother of Shooter Dylan Klebold in vain in vain.

Hochhalter missed the 20th anniversary of the 20th anniversary due to a post -traumatic stress disorder, but made it to the 25th vigil last year and wrote on Facebook that it was the “most healing” for them.

“I have really healed my soul since this terrible day in 1999,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
