The comeback in the second half of Florida State is neglected because the Noles fall on UNC 96-85

The men's basketball for men in Florida (16-12, 7-10) fell 96-85 to North Carolina (18-11, 10-7) on Monday evening, as their excellent shooting night and the comeback in the second half were completed. Jamir Watkins led with 26 and FSU of three, which would be sufficient for the seminols in most nights. Unfortunately, Florida State could not contain UNC all night, since the Tar Heels scored 49 in the first half, 47 in the second and RJ Davis for 20 points to reach the state of Florida. Malique Ewin went down at the beginning of the second half and, after returning to the game for about 30 seconds, did not return.

1. Half:

Both teams started hot, and Carolina knocked down four of his first five baskets, but Florida State held the ball, climbed into the free sausage line and caused sales. Jamir Watkins wore the offensive with seven points in six minutes morning and brought the game from the strip at 13.

Even when he set room, the role players of the FSU kept the crime up to date. Bostyn Holt threw Alier Maluk, AJ Swinton and Chandler Jackson a alley that had put down difficult jumpers medium reach, and the teams remained knotted into the U12 at 19.

The track meeting continued after the break. Each team achieved four consecutive possessions and shot over 60% from the ground to the first half. Malique Ewin's brilliance in the offensive castle opened the seminole offensive, but took up his second foul at the 7:07 brand, and coach Ham set it for half.

Even if the FSU releases the lights, let it down as usual. UNC, a team that does not bounce off this season, corrected six in the first 15 minutes and won the Battle Battle in the first half with 16: 0 -34 lead.

After 39-36, the Noles almost left the game away. Watkins hit a three to tie it, but then UNC tore off an 8-0 run, the first time that both sides caused separation to this point. 'I scored the goal line with four points in the last minute and pushed it to 18 in the first half when Florida State 49-43 drove into the break.

Usually a team leads 62.5% out of the ground and leads them comfortably, but not the FSU. Carolina shot over 50% herself and went out of the line 10-11, even when the seminols RJ Davis kept on just seven points.

2. Half:

The State Florida did not defensively adapt to the second adapted because the first three baskets of Unc Dunks were. To make things worse, Ewin broke on the floor at 6:30 p.m. and could not put his leg in weight and had to be carried into the changing room. After the Seminols had declined for the first time for the first time at the age of two, the Seminols surrendered. RJ Davis knocked down a decline in steps before Elliot Cadeau finally made one after he missed his first four attempts when the Tar Heels took over a lead of 14 points in the first three minutes.

Ewin checked in at 3:10 p.m., with the Nolen at 12 noon, but went back shortly afterwards and did not return.

The FSU musces into the game again by getting UNC into bad difficulties and entering the bonus after only six minutes. Deng lowered the deficit to single -digit digits with three, even when Carolina got everything they wanted at the end of the offensive.

The state of Florida remained within the 6-10 area in the next seven minutes and continued to reach the line, but did not produce defensively. Deng's third three of the games reduced it to six at 8:45, but for the 50th time this season the FSU had not returned to defense and forced a foul and two points.

The Tar Heels came to an end after the accommodation at 79-71. UNC went 8-0 from the commercial, which RJ Davis led on the offensive side and suppressed the defense when she took over a 16-point lead. The Noles went goalless for almost three minutes after Watkins had taken up his fourth foul before Taylor Bol Bowen and Justin Thomas were drained one after the other, causing the deficit to be a little less than four minutes.

The threes fall in love with the state of Florida late in the second half, with Deng and Watkins fall back in a row, but also the inability to hold the ball in front of them, to rebuild, and to create with snack bars. North Carolina frozen the game with free throws when the Noles fell by 96-85.

Snack:

– The same problems that have bitten the FSU all year round contributed to their defeat today. UNC does not recover well and only grabs eight ORS per game below the NCAA average and today corrected 13, which creates 24 points of the second chance. When they did not miss any shots, they found success behind the bow, made more than their season average and bury the seminols when it seemed as if the Noles could take a run.

– – When Malique Ewin was injured to start the second half and hardly return, Alier Maluk took his chance. The energy of the newcomer contributed to igniting the offensive of the state of Florida in the second half, with several offensive bouncing and drawn fouls. His defense fluctuated at times, but it happens in view of the harmful guards for UNC. Depending on the status of Ewin, the Noles should be satisfied with what Maluk looked like in long minutes.

– Jamir Watkins was alive on the bench for long distances in the first with 18 points on only seven shots and a swarming defense.
