The community mourns the loss of the 18-year-old football star

Hamilton County, in-mason Alexander, an 18-year-old, promising athlete from Indianapolis, lived tragically on Saturday evening in a car accident, and shortened what many thought of a brilliant future.

As a graduate of the Hamilton Southeasters High School, Mason had registered at the University of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh last January.

The Royal -Deh -Panther was in the city during the spring holidays of the University of Pittsburgh. On the trip as a passenger in Florida Road, the car lost control and hit a tree. Alexander was declared dead at the crime scene.

One of Alexander's coaches, Logan Weaver, was destroyed when he heard about Alexander's death.

“It's pretty devastating, man – he was just happy to be back in the city.”

Weaver said Alexander wrote him an SMS the day before about participating in the NFL combination in Indianapolis.

Alexander wrote Weaver an SMS that he had hoped to take part in the NFL pre-draft workouts in a few years.

Pittsburgh chef -soccer coach Pat Narduzzi published a warm explanation on social media, in which he gave up at the university about Mason's short but effective time:

“I received a call this morning that no parent, teacher or trainer would ever want to get the news about the sudden loss of a young and promising life. Our entire program is shocked and deeply sad to learn from Mason Alexander's death. Mason had registered in Pitt in January after his early end at the Hamilton South High School in Indiana in Pitt. Even in this short time, he made us a big impression. Mason was proud and excited to be a panther, and we felt just as he had in our family Pitt. He will always be a panther for us. The many loved ones and friends of Alexander family and Mason will be in our prayers. “

The Hamilton Southeastern School District published the following explanation on the death of the former football star:

Our school community mourn the loss of the senior citizen of the Hamilton Southeasters High School, Mason Alexander, who died this weekend in a car accident. This tragedy deeply influenced our students, employees and families.
Mason was a beloved member of our school community and a multisport athlete who was known for his friendliness, leadership and infectious energy. As Royal's football coach Mike Kelly shared:
“Mason was a special young man who touched the life of everyone he met. His smile, his presence and energy would illuminate any room in which he was. Our hearts are difficult in this difficult time.”
To support students and employees, Hamilton Mobilized Southastern Schools mobilized his crisis reaction team. We recognize how important it is to provide time and space for the processing of emotions, and resources will be available if necessary.
We appreciate the sympathy and the continued support while we navigate this loss together.

On Sunday, one of Mason's coaches, Logan Weaver, visited the crash site to pay tribute to his friend.

“Mason was a huge eye opener for me,” said Weaver. “He really got children on the menu, not only themselves, but every child with whom he played.”

Weaver hopes that memories of Mason will go beyond his effects on the field.

“I hope people remember how much fun he and how personally he was and how much he took care of others,” he said.

“Simply remind him of as an athlete who can continue to work in the field and outside the field and can be a player in the community, not only in the field,” added Weaver.

The Hamilton Southeasters High School plans to honor a balloon publication on Monday evening in honor in honor of the school's football stadium.
