The cool start with a cold front before the week with a lot of sunshine today

Lake Charles, La. (KPLC) – High pressure is in Overhead and gives us a nice day to start the working week.

Sunshine will be plentiful if we go through the afternoon and contribute to increasing the temperatures in the lower 1970s together with a southern breeze.

The winds will not be a big factor today, but will increase all week because the temperatures continue to warm up before Wednesday.

The next two days are great to go outside and enjoy while sunshine and quiet weather stay nearby!

However, the changes arrive for Wednesday because we track our next cold front.

Rain will not be a big business with this system, since most of the cover remains isolated.

The greater story will be the cooling that it brings when we go from the upper 70s to the upper 60s to the week.

We are at a time when we bring us the chance for a few showers every 3-5 days, and this week is no different.

Our second front will come in the next ten days when we go in the way of showers the next weekend and even a few storms on Sunday.
