A man and a woman were admitted to the hospital after jumping out of a window during a home vasion in South Chicago during a home vasion in South Chicago.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of the South Manistee Avenue.

The Chicago police said that a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were in an apartment on the third floor when an unknown person entered, took out a firearm and fired shots in her direction.

Both victims then jumped out of a window on the third floor and were injured.

The man suffered injuries to both legs and was brought into the Medical Center of the University of Chicago in a serious condition.

The woman suffered a blunt trauma in her body and was brought to the University of Chicago even in a critical condition.

Nobody will be custody from Sunday.
