The Dale County's office organizes hundreds of students for the Rodeo school day

Dale County, Ala. (WTVY) – The Dale County's office is ready to “appear” for the rodeo this weekend!

To achieve a lead, they shared the skills with the students of Dale County for the first school day rodeo.

Hundreds of students experienced a preview of the Rodeo of the Sheriff in a few days, but with a educational turn.

“When Sheriff (Mason) Bynum came to me and said they brought the rodeo to Dale County, I thought it was a great opportunity for our students,” said Ben Baker, superintendent of Dale County School.

From riding and ropes to Barrel Racing, the students could see what started as the work of the cowboys and developed into basic food in the Rodeo competition.

“It is widespread in our region, but many students don't see it,” said Baker.

Sheriff Bynum says that this was the first time that many of the students had experienced a rodeo.

“It's something new for you, the Rodeo life. I know that you can enjoy a school day, so you came out of here and it's a great experience. You can hear them screaming in the background, it was great to see how these children are excited and excited. It warms your heart, ”said Bynum.

For the students Shelby and Conway it was a day you could remember. They even took a few lessons away.

Shelby said: “When you see that you hunt the cows, it's okay. The cows are not injured; You only get some action. “

On the other hand, Conway noticed: “If a cow runs to you, remember, don't stand in your way.”

Who knows, maybe one day one of these students will take part in this rodeo. Only time will say it, but it sounds like they are ready to be saddled.

The PCA Rodeo of the Sheriff of the Sheriff of Dale County is Friday and Saturday, March 7th to 8th.
