An entrepreneur based in Delhi recently shared an unexpected attitude experience on social media. What started as a simple shopping spree became a career -making moment for a seller in an electronics business when a customer recognized his potential when he only supported the purchases.
In a now viral LinkedIn post, Ankit Aggarwal, founder and CEO of Unstop, shared how he visited Reliance Digital to buy a printer, but finally hired the seller who helped him.

“I hired someone while I bought a printer! Sandeep at Reliance Digital supported me when I bought. When we said, he mentioned that he was up to date to become a front-end developer,” wrote Aggarwal.

Aggarwal impressed by Sandepeps and decided to test his skills with a simple challenge: “Create a small app for us as a task.” Sandeep took it seriously, worked hard and delivered. As a result, he ended up a job as a front-end developer at unstop.

Aggarwal explained that this was not a planned recruitment, but an opportunity that arose organically. “No formal applications, just a real opportunity to present his skills,” he noted.

He continued to emphasize Sandeeps and emphasized that talents can be found anywhere. “His passion and determination led him to the technology, and he was ready when the right opportunity came,” added Aggarwal and explained: “Talent is everywhere. Sometimes it only takes a conversation.”

The story quickly achieved LinkedIn and triggered discussions among the users. A user commented: “Networking is not about combining people. It is about combining people with people, people with ideas and people with opportunities.”

Another noticed: “A founder always hires ankit! Always looking for good talent.”

A third person added: “It is inspiring to see how a simple conversation can lead to opportunities. A great praise to Sandeep, who take the initiative on his upsky trip. This really underlines how important it is to recognize the potential in others and to be open to unconventional ways in attitude.”

While the traditional attitude usually includes CVs and interviews, this story proves that sometimes the right opportunity comes through a simple conversation. The most important snack? Press further forward – things are put together at the right time.
