The deputy chief Kevin Quinn was called Cfsi Mason Lankford Fire Service Leadership Prize winners

Arlington, va. – The Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI) and Motorola Solutions have announced that deputy boss Kevin Quinn of the Union Fire District is honored in retirement in 2025 CFSI/Motorola Solutions Mason Lankford Fire Service Leadership Award.

The award is awarded during the time 35. Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner on February 13, 2025.

“Kevin Quinn is honored with the Mason Lankford Award for his leadership and commitment to the firefighters and the emergency services of our nation,” said CFSI President Jim Estepp. “He embodies the spirit of the Lankford Award through his lifelong commitment to the establishment of partnerships and the further development of the security of firefighters.”

Quinn has been a fire brigade since 1976 and has dedicated almost five decades to promote the security and emergency services of the firefighters. His leadership roles include over 40 years on the board of the national volunteer Fire Council and, as a board member, contribute to the National Fall Firefighter Foundation. Quinn was also part of the board member of the National Fire Academy for two terms and was a member of the board of the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition.

During his entire career, Quinn tirelessly worked on shaping fire guidelines and programs at local, state and national level. His efforts were significantly involved in answering the health and security of firefighters and promoting partnerships to improve the fire brigade community.

The 35th annual symposium and the dinner of National Fire and Emergency Services includes a robust seminar program that deals with national problems with fire and life safety.
